Hello from Wisconsin! We moved to Cedarburg over the summer and are (hopefully) finishing up our first winter. Overall, it wasn't all that bad and I even managed to get a snow day out of it this year. Grayson loves the snow and there's been plenty for him to play around in. 
Many of you have been watching all that is going on in Wisconsin politically. It is truly a wild ride right now and being an educator has been more interesting than usual. We have really enjoyed being able to be closer to all of our family and be around for birthdays, holidays and special events.

Grayson got tubes put into his ears in December and as a result is finally starting to talk. He still sounds jumbled up but we have mostly been able to figure out what he is talking about. He turned 2 at the end of January and is more and more fun with each passing day. 
Nick is still coaching and also gets to stay home with Grayson for part of the day. I work about 40 miles from where we live and am anxious to be done being a "first year principal" again.
Our St. Louis house finally sold at the beginning of February...we definitely got hit hard by the housing market but at least it's over with and we can begin being homeowners where we live.
Spring is coming...and I can't wait. Cabin fever has really set in and I'm anxious to get outside and enjoy the Wisconsin air. Summer is the best time in Wisconsin and we would love to have visitors come to see us. There's plenty to do on Lake Michigan and Summerfest (a two week music festival x 10) is really shaping up to be a good one this year.
