I'm One Month Old!

So tired of these photo shoots Mom!
He got a little tired of the sign....
I love my Daddy naps!
Hello! Can you believe it? Grayson is one month old (well technically it's not one month, but heh...February only has 28 days)! Things are still going well. Grayson hates being changed...he cries...he enjoys getting a bath...he initially smiles and overall he is spending more time awake. Especially last night from 1:30 a.m - 4:45 a.m. He had his own party in his bed, didn't cry, just laid and looked around making lots of noises.
This week he finally gets to meet his Great-Gramma Martini. Great Gramma and Gramma are coming down to help out while Nick goes to Oklahoma City for a few days. We will go back to the doctor to get a check up (and some shots). Based on our scale, we think he is now topping out around 8lbs! It's hard to believe that this is a typical birth weight for many babies.
Take care everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Being held by cousins Izzy and Brody
Hanging out on Uncle Andy's lap
Hi everyone, Things are still going well here. Grayson continues to sleep a good chunk of the day and most of the evenings I still have to wake him up for his first feeding. He's eating a lot more though and slowly spending more time awake. He particularly likes to look at lights and lay on the floor for his "tummy time" each night with his Daddy. We are very thankful for all of your continuals cards, calls, gifts and warm wishes. Announcements should be making it to your homes very soon. Take care and hope you had a good Valentine's Day!

Grayson Thomas

We're finally home! Grayson Thomas was born at 12:09 p.m. on Saturday, January 31st. He entered the world at a perfect 6 pounds and is very healthy. We had a 4 day stay in the hospital where we were taken care of by the best nurses and doctors. Grayson had a touch of jaundice so we had him in a bili bed for a few days. He was like a little glow worm or as I called it...it was his "Hollywood" treatment. Today he finally got to get out of the bed and is enjoying his first day at home in clothes while swinging in his new swing. Our first night at home was wonderful...it was a good thing that I set an alarm to feed him as he did not wake at all. I'm suspecting that this will change very soon, but he is a very good baby. We've enjoyed visits by all of the grandparents and tomorrow Uncle Andy and Aunt Amanda will visit. Next week we will see Aunt Carrie and Uncle Derek along with cousins Izzy and Brody, Great Aunt Rosalie and Cousin Julie. Gramma Rudich will also be back to visit. So all in all, things have been going very well. We're lucky to have such a wonderful little boy and we are extremely relieved that everyone is healthy. Thanks for everyone's positive thoughts and prayers! Hope you are all well!
